For intermediate players. Ten technical chapters consisting of an introductory section with several instructions, followed by problem deals. Two 'fun' chapters feature the well-known David Bird characters, the nuns of St. Hilda's pitched in battle with the monks of St. Titus.

After the auction (which contains quizzes along the way) you can play each deal against the computer. The explanation that follows also contains many quiz questions to guide you along. To allow you to experiment with play and defence, each deal is also available in the 'Free Play' mode.
